大家都知道 Wordpress 2.3.3 的默认编辑器使用的是一个名为 TinyMCE 的编辑器，功能算不上太强大，因此很多人使用其它的插件来增强默认的编辑器的功能，不过就算是 Wordpress 自带的这个 TinyMCE 在默认状态下还是隐藏了几个按钮，我们按几个键就能把它开启，调整字号，下划线，改变文字颜色，回复和撤销等操作变得轻而易举。
调用方法如下，在写日志页面，使用可视化编辑，也就是 Rich Editor 编辑模式时：
IE：ALT+V
Firefox: ALT+SHIFT+V
如果你使用IE浏览器，按下Alt+V，如果你使用的是 Firefox 浏览器，按下 Alt+Shift+V 组合键，就可以打开隐藏的 TinyMCE 编辑器的隐藏按钮了。开启前后的对比：
这是默认的样子，也就是没有开启隐藏按钮之前。

Wordpress 2.5 还没有发布，让我们震惊的是，已经有可以替代Wordpress 2.5默认的管理面板主题发布了。
这个主题，叫做 Flency ， 替换了Wordpress管理界面的很多图片和导航项目，它的特性是将颜色转回了黑，灰，白混合颜色，并且移动了主导航栏到左侧。
尽管Wordpress的管理界面产生了巨大的改变，但是还是不是我最喜欢的。我十分留恋史蒂夫*史密斯开发的Tiger Admin主题，但是我发现它和Wordpress 2.5不兼容了，我很失望。但是这也给了我一次机会来做一些改变，我自己的管理主题，并最终开发了 Flency。（译者注：此段是作者引用Flency开发者的话）
