Some latest news on opensource:

Linus Torvalds started a blog on blogspot, http://torvalds-family.blogspot.com/

I created a group Fedora User Group in soup.io with the URL http://fedoragroup.pengjiayou.com, it’s a collection of my favorite Feeds, which you can learn Fedora in both Chinese and English languages.

Nvidia released the latest 177.80 display driver, it’s not available in FTP yet ftp://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86/ , so please download it from http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_display_ia32_177.80.html

I upgraded my Fedora 9 to the up-dated last night, Kernel updated to 2.6.26.5-45, and Nvidia driver to 177.80, but after upgradation, my mobile broadband in Network Manager didn’t work any longer, it’s some problems caused by SELinux, so I had to disable SELinux.

That’s easy, open a teminal, and type cp /etc/sysconfig/selinux /etc/sysconfig/selinux_backup, and then type gedit /etc/sysconfig/selinux, then change the first line in the file to “SELINUX=disabled“.

Reboot your system, and the Network Manager mobile broadband worked fine!~~~
