Some latest news on opensource:

Linus Torvalds started a blog on blogspot, http://torvalds-family.blogspot.com/

I created a group Fedora User Group in soup.io with the URL http://fedoragroup.pengjiayou.com, it’s a collection of my favorite Feeds, which you can learn Fedora in both Chinese and English languages.

Nvidia released the latest 177.80 display driver, it’s not available in FTP yet ftp://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86/ , so please download it from http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_display_ia32_177.80.html

I upgraded my Fedora 9 to the up-dated last night, Kernel updated to, and Nvidia driver to 177.80, but after upgradation, my mobile broadband in Network Manager didn’t work any longer, it’s some problems caused by SELinux, so I had to disable SELinux.

That’s easy, open a teminal, and type cp /etc/sysconfig/selinux /etc/sysconfig/selinux_backup, and then type gedit /etc/sysconfig/selinux, then change the first line in the file to “SELINUX=disabled“.

Reboot your system, and the Network Manager mobile broadband worked fine!~~~
